Horse Forms

Paintings on paper and card 2015-2016.

The horse as a subject for painting began for me in early childhood. Through drawing, observing, and imagination I submerged myself in assimilating the nature and morphology of this animal.

I regularly return to this subject and each time it is reconstructed, revisited and expressed with what I have of that particular moment.

I enter into my familiarity of the horse, and at this point I push the limits of what is possible.
