The garden is an ongoing theme in my paintings. It is inspired by the seasonal changes and my own attempts at maintaining a garden. Stones, earth, boarders and leaves; they overlap, meet, combine and cohabitate with no particular order, yet work together and around each other to survive and thrive. Each plant has its’ purpose, identity and elegance; even the simplest of weeds. These paintings are observations and explorations of these haphazard combinations and unplanned moments that are in perpetual movement as the seasons unfold.
